Chadderton&Co is an eco-friendly and sustainable brand that produces organic, vegan and toxin-free hand-poured soy candles inspired by travel. They fit perfectly into a modern, minimalistic, boho, travel or simple home design.
Chadderton&Co candles are individually hand-poured in Lancashire, England. 'Voyage' candles are unique and sophisticated, made of eco soy wax infused with a blend of the finest fragrance oils and high-quality pure essential oils which are paraben-free and cruelty-free. They are handcrafted in small batches in signature large turquoise blue/green and white coloured glass containers with lots of travel inspiration.
The prices start from £22.95, including a recyclable and reusable cotton pouch. You can also find eco-friendly perfumed soy wax wardrobe fresheners as an alternative to classic closet scents. A set of two starts from £12.95.
Chadderton&Co was established in 2021 by a married couple John and Kristina who used to travel extensively to different countries. They wanted to connect the memories of beautiful places with a beautiful fragrance. They brought an idea to life during the lockdown.
"We knew that scent has a strong link to memory and we knew how frustrating it can be when you can't travel. That was the key. There were so many passionate travellers among us that felt the same way. We thought people like us – travellers, would be able to have a little pleasure, a gift and a memory/story of a beautiful place with one candle at home."
Kristina is a former flight attendant and graduate in marketing communication who visited over a hundred counties and has a passion for travel. A love for fragrances and respect for the planet are all put into this candle project. Every candle and freshener have the name of a destination the founders visited and designed to bring back memories of that visit. They believe that in one beautiful candle there is a unique story.
Their ethos is a "conscious life". How to live a conscious life? For them, it's about awareness, mindfulness and progress. Starting with small manageable changes and decisions to improve and progress towards our best self, others and our planet. They believe that creating a safe and calm space at home is essential for our well-being.
The founders are constantly improving their small business Chadderton&Co and working on new products. "Because there are so many beautiful memories and places on this planet that they want to share.
