Bottega Veneta was established in Italian city Vicenza in 1966, by Michele Taddei and Renzo Zengiaro.
At the moment, the brand is owned by a French multinational corporation Kering, who purchased Bottega Veneta in 2001.
The brand name simply translates as ‘Venetian Shop’ from Italian and been known for producing leather goods. Its instantly recognizable intrecciato weaving technique can be seen as a popular trend at the moment.
The intrecciato is a hand waving technique which is used across most of the brands categories.
